Expectations
15 or so Moonies
reality
over 30 Moonies, seems they love rain.

Reality,
light to wet rain all evening.
Expectation all to go over the temple hill, but Moonies cant climb steps, a simple sign with R & W completely messed them up! Reality excuse, "we came from a different direction!" work that 1 out.
International Full moon Hash with Gengis and Cheap shoes back from Mongolia, Our Australian ladies' had nothing better to do so showed up, and Flat Feet flew in from Hua Hin! via Karachi Hash,
A great turn out from the Hua Hin ladies Thx to Paracetamol, Full moon old timers Hugmannygoat and Tinks, Experience counts for nothing on the Trail!
A good turn our from our Phuket prison escapes, with stories of bruised bollocks and bedtime games, any excuse not to run in the rain, Welcome Back from our super fit Spartans au Natural and Flying frog. Hash virgin Sean tried to work out the confusion, but that's normal!
1st thing we look for has the Restaurant got a car park YES, but not big enough for 30 cars and trucks! No space for a circle! never mind who cares!
Light drizzle from 4 pm so our not so waterproof chalk would of disappeared, hopefully the paper and orange string would help.
With the newly Named Freedom Cha am Hash, fighting against corruption, warm beer and shitty trails, they decided to quietly invade Khao Tao, completely missing out Hua Hin, A full force of strength led by the bold bruised willy and his entourage of slime, mudman, and bite mark! is this an outstation, they have never been so far! maybe a coup! rumour is is they wanted to see how to do a proper Hash!
but great to see them, hopefully we will do them proud in December for their 500th run (all Welcome)
mumble on, Stevie wonder could of done this trail, we had put chalk on the beach, Knockout had hid paper in the reeds and bushes! 2 hares on trail to help! torches supplied! after a beach and Temple run, they were directed by Penny lame left towards the lake, and temple where knockout was waiting to send them over the top to sai noi beach! few hundred steps no problem, slippery and dark no problem. but Moonies like solid ground no steps, bends or obstacles please!
1st over the top to the beer truck was mudman, bite mark, cute comer, flying frog and Bruised willy, who soon shot off, wanting to do the trail in the light! then a lonely figure slime appeared then disappeared, a long pause to our Phuket prisoner's turned up, glad nobody was behind them so they could have extra beer.
so most of the pack decided to do the long route round the lake, missing the beer hard luck to them!
Back at HQ with a hungry and thirsty mob, we dished out the beer from the truck, car park to full do do a circle and some still on trail, charges will be handed out next time! food came out slowly and steadily as we had pre ordered, a great wet evening run!
It was good to get out of the HH area and thx to the great support.
Next run is FRIDAY 18th October, 86 bar and restaurant, klong rd.

Great turn out on Saturday for the Paddywacker and St Patricks day run,
I think nearly 50 people attended and 34 on Sunday,
Just shows if we put events together we get bigger turnouts.
also lately a surge in Hash Virgins in Hua Hin.

Recurring On After Problems!
with larger attendance's at the on afters,
our usual and even larger restaurants just cant cope!
It's not fair on the restaurants for 30 or more people to show up and order al a carte,
and normally the girls order several dishes so to prepare 50 dishes in a short time is impossible,
and we all hate it if we are served last! it spoils the atmosphere and the evening.
Saturday at 19th hole had regular customers,
also so service was very slow and some people got wrong orders or items missing.
Sunday at Pinto yam which are normally ok, was a disaster they couldn't even get the beer out!
and the owners got aggressive, definitely off our hash list.
Set Menu
our future Full Moons and Bush hashes,
we will follow the Bangkok traditions which have worked well for the last 20 years,
THEY HAVE NO AL LA CARTE, ONLY A SET MENU CHOSEN BY THE HARES.
shared between 4 people normally a veg dish, omelette, something fried with a soup or curry,
which comes to around 200 per head average.
Advantage is everyone gets served together! no waiting!
We will announce the menu a few days before, so we can inform the restaurant.
Even up to before the trail its easy to increase no of sets required.
You still can go off the menu if required, but we cant guarantee how long you will have to wait.
GM's please share this idea with your hashers, people from all Hashers agreed Sunday,
that everyone ordering separate meals has rarely worked out and things need to change.
After our Next full moon we will go to Set menu's it worked out well for our 1st Anniversary and in Pratchuap.

Like Father Christmas some people only cum once a yr!
Will it be 25? maybe 30? or 40? Moonies?
2 months of Marketing and the numbers as clear as my dunkel Beer!
lots of surprises by the hares, who were full of Christmas spirit in more ways than most!
Moonies are easily confused as we started about 100m from the Restaurant at a 7/11 shop!
30 registered moonies showed up, about 11 not registered,
Please folks we have to know one way or another if you are attending an Event or not!
Some new faces, old faces & confused looking Visitors,
2 ice cooler bags on the floor what could this mean?
6pm everyone paid, instructions given No Paper or Chalk, just follow the Hare!
Bags opened and cold beers poured a FREE Christmas Drink to start the Xmas Bash off.
Along to the Municipality and a chicken run over the lights to the 1st 7/11, A New tradition which is taking hold is if
"We pass a 7/11, We stop for a drink"
The sweet aroma of full dustbins full of Turkey legs we quickly moved onto the bindabaht bar area, eerily quiet, but the hare Penny lame had some streets tighter Than a hash GM, we stopped and started and waited for the Sightseers!
Eventually stopping at a more than quaint shack as the 1st FREE BEER STOP, and a raffle with FREE BJ's and goodies, some charges and down downs and we headed for a well planned Group photo!
2 nights we had an amazing FULL MOON, as we walked along the pier and the moonies focused their eyes, Where is the moon has someone stole it!
Last orders decided to try the seafood delights on the way.
A photo shoot on a stage, 1 minute of fame and off we went, more zig zagging and back to petchkasem rd and the market with more delightful smells.
Then the hare stopped at an old steel beer cooler fridge and announced a 2nd FREE beer stop, much to the shock of the shop owner, who now had 40 customers! Cute come noticed some sickly looking Gruel and decided to tuck in.
More confusion as we headed into a crowded Night Market and turned left?
Taking in the delights of the New Patio market and headed off home.
We filled the Bar to 110% capacity, with cold beers shared out and food a plenty, another Raffle, Sexy Santa to Natalie
and worst dressed to the most imaginative dressed guy.
hugs had spent many hrs making a music list on flash drive but unfortunately the appliances on hand were not suitable,so we have music for the next 10 parties!
More beers and prizes and a late evening for some, what will the hares come up with next.

- We have No Committee, just knockout and penny and our Harriette wives who tell us what to do!
- No Hash cash, We have some haberdashery but normally any money left we spend on beers at the Restaurant, end of the day its the moonies money!
- No financial rewards, We cover our own costs because we love hashing.
- We are All Experienced Hashers mostly from Bkk and bring new ideas to our Full Moon Hashes.
- We change Constantly, we listen to our Moonies, We do what's best for our members.
- Hash History "Rules are,there are no rules"
- We use our Harriettes as much as possible to give us a break!
- Like most Hashes around the world we shop local and use Family Restaurants as much as possible.
- We stand alone, our 3 hashes, Hua Hin Full Moon, Hua Hin 7/11 Hash and Hua Hin Full Moon Bush Hash all work in unison, supporting and promoting Hashing in Hua Hin.
- We support other local Sports, Hua Hin Fc and we have members who join the Hua Hin Runners and Touch Rugby team.

Less than a month after our 1st Anniversary Hua Hin Full Moon Hash and our Free Full Moon hats, they have grown wings and travelling far and wide, Thanks to everyone for wearing them and buying our Green Anniversary shirts ( you still still buy them see Hab dash page)
Our shirts and hats were worn with pride on Bullits 80th Birthday run in Ayutthaya, Then the hats have been spotted on the Bangkok Full moon Hash Thanks TYG and girls. Then yesterday worn by Nongplok hash in Medan Indonesia thanks to the Physco family.

After the last misadventure from our bumbling duo, Penny Lame & Penny Pincher, less said the better!
Knockout charges back directly from his Don quixote adventures with his sidekick Max Factor with a whimper to save the day, A sense of adventure in the air or was it the black rain clouds on the hills!
With sacks of shreddies, 10 kilos of chalk and 10 km of bright yellow tape even stevie wonder could see! The intrepid duo set off Thursday morning to set the trail, chalk, paper, tape something on nearly every pole in samor prong, nothing could go wrong!
2 ½ hrs later trail finished job well done, ground still dry, but not for long as most plans they soon unravel, light rain turned to a heavier prolonged downpour very unusual sight in hua Hin.
2 things that don’t mix water and chalk! So plan B from Penny lame with a tear running down his leg, back again to remark all the arrows again!
86 Bar and restaurant had done us proud with discounted beers and Free water. A big shout out to them for an excellent evening.
As the moonies gathered in their overly orange t-shirts and attire, our 20 intrepid moonies set off not knowing what to expect this time!
A mix of moonies from our youngest Kirsty full of energy to our oldest Cathusulum with a lot less energy!
Would they get blinded by the new yellow tape or forget everything and stop at the nearest pub?
Down a short rd to the dangerous Bridge 8, south along the klong road, FRB heading off, followed by bite mark, easy off, and the stray pack of walkers, false trails and checks ahead, thru a building site and a left turn out of town, where are we going! Into Tipperwan and a welcome sight the beer bike, with cold refreshments waiting, but wait a moment where is our usual 7/11 stop?
Don't worry there will be more than ample 7/11 beer stops on our Anniversary Run and 7/11 Dash.
With everyone busy drinking we seemed to pick up a straggler. A young boy had followed the walkers, and in a flash disappeared with one of our mouth watering beverages, an opportunist he surely will grow up to be a politician.
As darkness fell and nearly all this time had managed the beer stop, mentioning no names Golden rain who realised she was afraid of the dark and remembering she had ordered food headed back in.
Was a quick pace from runners and walkers because they had been promised a large beer and food awaiting they soon scurried back. Hash question Can you do a circle when food is around? Answer No, from experience shorter the circle the better or no circle at all!
A positive response from the moonies, that's a change maybe the beer lightened their mood as they tucked into the food and chatted into the late evening.
