A grand day out in Pranburi.

Our ever expanding full moon had a problem, Pranburi town was too small for a Full Moon Hash! What to do? Easy make it half a sunday bush Hash, round the outside of the village.

Big shout out to the locals who gave us free water and drinks, so friendly, except for their dogs, seems every house had 3 or 4 yappy big dogs!

Thanks to our Celebrity co hare, Aunties Bitch who seems to be in Hua hin more than Bangkok, sunday was an early start travelling down early morning to set the trail, by the time we started it was blistering hot! The 1st half was slow with railway crossings, ditches and false trails to add, time spent talking to locals and chasing dogs off.

A quick liquid refreshment stop. the easy part in the village, we tried to use minimal paper as the village is so clean and tidy, so lots of chalk arrows, we finished before lunch so took a quick trip to check out our Sunrise Hash location in August and had a great lunch at the restaurant.

By the time we arrived back, people had already started arriving, about 12 or so drunkards, decided to stay the night in the resort next door, so partying was planned and partying we did, knockout a bit more than everyone else!

A fine mix of Moonies, Paul from Singapore, Loose Arse and Thalido-skid from Chiang mai Hash, returners Easy off and Bite mark, we needed some runners, New Moonies who we christened Flip it out and flip it in,

A good turnout of 25 moonies, but lots of keyboard warriors, 69 people clicked coming or interested on Facebook, so the beer truck was well overloaded.

doubling the population of Pranburi or so it seemed! There was plenty of social drinking before the start. A hot day to say the least, but plenty of greenery and a scenic village to look forward to.

About ten past 5 after penny lame had warned people of dogs and False trails, the moonies headed off towards the unknown, very hard to short cut as the first 4 kilometres were on the outside of the river which circles the village!

Plenty of checks and false trails to keep the runners busy, good mix of runners hit the beer truck about an hour later, mudman, paul, desert island dicks, easy off and bite mark. Instruction were given to cross the railway and watch out for trains!

5 minute later more walkers appeared, to the amusement of the local market traders, but the tail enders, dark and stormy and our newbies were nowhere to be seen! Had they got lost, been abducted by a dildo shaped spaceship, eaten by crocodiles, but we found out they were dawdling and enjoying the scenery!

Problem was the runners were already back and wanting more liquid refreshments, where is penny lame and the beer truck!

Social drinking was enjoyed and snacks eaten, some alien looking green stuff made by max factor! As the sunset over the iron railway bridge. beers soon disappeared, mostly helped on by knockout neptune!

The Circle was called and with good reviews of the trail, people enjoyed their trip out of town! A short circle was lengthened by a christening for flip it out and flip it in, because they somehow managed to walk the trail in flip flops, not a normal procedure naming new people, but what the hell they live in hua hin now!

We had all pre-booked food from the restaurant, but they decided to cook it one at a time to serve it hot, but luckily we had plenty of beer, some got served quicker than others, but what the hell!

After dinner most people retreated to hua hin, but Desert island dicks, knockout, penny, dark and stormy, yugo, yok, loose arse and others decided to keep the late night candle burning with bad dancing till after midnight!

Would there be a hangover run, yes but penny was 1 minute late. aunties bitch, knockout and max factor headed out at seven thirty. Penny at 7 thirty one.

In the opposite direction, Meeting eventually half way, with the sun already hot we descended on a local coffee shop by the river for breakfast, another successful Full moon hash. see you all in 2 weeks in sai noi beach!

Introduction

Late write up as I had lost my pencil and could not write an email! Well best laid plans and all that, thanks to the local highways for removing all the crossings and traffic lights on the bypass making each trip a nightmare!

Pre run

Friday night we had a meet and drink at R&R Bar, where t-shirts could be collected. Good turn out good to see old friends, big shout out to Hugmannygoat and cute comer for a great trail on the Saturday nearly defunct Cha am Hash who had brought with them some great scottish weather to soak our visitors.

Our not so Mickey mouse Hash had brought visitors from as far as Australia (Bunny) as far south as Khanom Hash (Urine trouble and piss in boots) ,

Bangkok, Pattaya and Global walker freshly imported from Holland & Visitors from Phuket (2 small to see and red hot chilli) and our own Karachi Hasher (Flat Feet) Thank you all for attending.

The trail was approx 6.6km. It had a rambo but was omitted Sunday as the rocks were wet and slippery, but plenty of long checks and false trails to keep everyone busy. With our traditional beer stop hidden on the trail, the trail was set in our New dayglow orange tape (even Stevie Wonder could have seen it)  and paper. Heavy rain after lunch scared the Moonies, but bright skies at the car park. 50 brave Moonies, Hashers and visitors descended onto the quiet lakeside with the fresh aroma of cow shit!

4pm circle called by Knockout and penny with Instructions not to get lost! Our co hare aunties Bitch would be sweeper to pick up the lost sheep!

Cows and bulls were placed to trail to slow Hashers down, hopefully they would not eat all the shreddy!

Just about 5pm shouting of on on echoed around the hill side as the FRB’s headed towards the penny lames mobile pub, home advantage to bite mark, easy off, mudman, bruised willy, pat pom who can smell beer a mile off but were chased down by Ibo Ibo and other thirsty runners,

Penny Pincher eagerly waited with ice cold beers to quench the thirst. But the joker penny lame sent the runners on a long FT, giving them an extra 300m! Then sending them back up the next valley. 5 minutes later sweaty walkers appeared glad to see beer, with the good news that just over 2 km left to go! But a certain not to be named hasher! Decided to take them on the old farts short cut and miss the best parts out!

Snacks and beer a plenty waited for the Hashers, who had enjoyed another HH weekend of fun, what would the Franchise Trio of Full moon, sunday and 7/11 Hash cum up with next!

Lots of wet evenings wasted drinking cold beer to get these ideas by Knockout, Aunties Bitch and Penny lame,

Circle

Circle was opened by the dastardly trio, our Youngest Hasher “Chicken Wings” got her Full moon Hat after 1 yr!  and guest Tinker from Bangkok, one of our younger hashers called in to get comments and down the hares, how much this trio does together is for another story! All in All another great trail! Guest GM’s included Kanom GM, Donga with one of his monologues! Ibo Ibo (founder Yangon Full moon and staunch supporter of the Full Moon)

Comment by ding a ling who woke up and commented it was August and the Sunday Hash shirt had Oct! This was because our 1st Sunday Bush Hash was October last Year and this is our 2nd Anniversary of our Full moon.

Hares presented Chang Special Beer from Bangkok Harriette’s Pat Pom and Hot Lips, thoughts of a nice tipple turned into a wet tittie t -shirt competition!

Then Master of mischief Penny Lame, one never backward to cum forward, gathered all the Beautiful Harriettes for a Beauty Competition! So they thought! a New yearly Horny harriette of the Year Award.

A New Glass cocktail cock full of beer!

Who complained why it was warm! And it reminded her of something else! Now it takes center stage on her mantle piece. One thing for sure we will never be woke or politically correct!  More charges from the circle as it darkened and we headed for more fun and food!.

On After

Esan Ban Suan on hill lek fai, same location as last Sunday Hash with most Hashers opting for the set menu for 200 baht, common problem with Restaurants if all order separately some get fed last! But the 24 or so turned out to be nearly 40, so quick work by Penny Pincher and knockout plenty of beer was added to the tables. Must be good beer because the not nearly knackered girls decided dancing was more than overdue, as we prove time and time again, hashing is a simple pass time and doesn’t need much apart from enthusiasm to keep it going Penny Lame announced another 10 big beers would be added to the tables for all to enjoy!

Hashers don’t drink but down downed nearly 120 large bottles of beer in a few hrs between them!

Hi Hashers,

50 registered for our extra marital weekend of Fun.

Like all good things in reverse order.

Our on after is a well known Issan Restaurant for the Sunday evening.

with over 30 expected to join, ordering individual dishes would take all night.

Recently we have done Bkk style and used a set menu.

We propose this to be shared for 4 people.

About the Hua Hin Full Moon bush Hash

One of many reasons why we decided to do an occasional Sunday Hash is many of our Moonies and Regular Hashers are looking for longer more challenging trails, in the Full Moon format with numerous Checks and False trails.

We have seen the running groups are attracting 50 plus runners, so why should we miss out!

Plus Sunday is a Boring day, 

nothing Happens on a Sunday in Hua Hin!!

(except Moonies supporting Hua Hin FC)

Plus it makes it an event for visitors if they can have a Hashy Weekend, Publicity and Marketing rubs off to all the Local Hashes, improving our visitor Numbers.

We model it on the Successful Siam Sunday and other Sunday Hashes with the emphasis on "keep it simple"

We run or walk or crawl following a trail set by one of the Hare (or "Hares").

Drinking beer is a frequent occurrence though not obligatory.

Sunday is Funday, Families Welcome and Pets

(Beware there could be stray dogs and Cattle on the Trail)

The trail is 6 km plus with runners loops with short-cuts for the walkers. Can be challenging,  with a beer/water stop half way. Part of the Hash experience is to join us for dinner in a local restaurant after the run.

Hashing is an excellent way for beginners to start running. You can run or walk as much of the trail as you like. The trail has checks and turns to enable the slower runners and walkers to keep up with the faster runners.
